Equipment used to extract a specific substance from raw materials, mainly used in the market for the extraction of vegetable oils.It is divided into pretreatment, leaching, extraction, wintering, dewaxing, degreasing, deacidification, oil steaming and other steps.
Degumming is the first step, refined oil degumming process includes only by MAO hydration, some impurities such as: lecithin, gelatin and protein in the absence of water dissolved in oil, once the hydration can't dissolve in oil, this is the principle of hydration degumming, however, there are still some colloid in oil after hydration, which requires the acidification treatment to remove. In general, oil presses use hydration degumming more often than refineries, with only a small amount of oil deposited in the intermediate tanks. The water phase after the degumming can be reused in the steam degumming of the meal, while the phospholipids have excellent commercial value and can be dried separately.
Alkali refining neutralization This operation involves the use of caustic soda to neutralize and saponify the free fatty acids in the oil. The saponified free acids are no longer soluble in water and can therefore be sedimentation or centrifugation separated. After the removal of free acids, neutralization cannot be completed, for at this stage the hydrated phospholipids must also be removed. It also reduces the number of minor components such as metal ions and pigments
The decolorization process uses suitable adsorption materials to remove pigments such as carotene and chlorophyll.Decolorization has become a more important process, which is the last step in removing residual phospholipids, metal ions, and oxides before deodorization. In addition, it is important to remove other impurities, which directly affect the sensory flavor and oxidizing properties of the deodorized oil.
Deodorization In most cases, deodorization is the last step of refining. The main purpose of deodorization is to remove substances that affect the smell and taste of the oil. In physical refining, free acids can also be removed.Although the type of technology varies, the goal is always the same: to ensure adequate contact between the oil and the water vapor to achieve the desired results. The process can be continuous, semi-continuous, or intermittent, depending on application choice, type of oil, and scale of production, with each application having its own best benefits. In general, the three steps of deodorization are as follows:
(1) gas out heating: before the heat exchange heating of decolorizing oil and deodorizing oil, the air in the oil should be drained first.
(2) Deodorization: the steam is ejected through a series of pumps at a pressure of about 3 mbar. The oil is in full contact with the steam under the stirring of the steam, and the steam is evenly dispersed in the oil.
(3) Cooling: the oil is cooled by heat exchange under vacuum conditions. We can provide continuous high efficiency deodorization tower and multiple varieties of alternating intermittent deodorization tower
The physical Refining process is downstream Technology
The traditional refining process usually adopts the alkali refining method, that is, adding a certain amount of alkali to the crude oil to neutralize the free fatty acids in the crude oil. The soaps produced thereby are separated by the separation process and then washed.Alkali smelting process not only has high smelting consumption, but also produces a large amount of water washing wastewater, which needs additional sewage treatment to meet the local or national discharge standards. However, the physical refining process is very ideal for treating inferior crude oil or cottonseed oil.On the basis of the traditional refining, a unique physical refining method is adopted. The steam is injected into the oil through the hole on the tray coil. At the same time of deodorization, the free fatty acids contained in the oil are also raised.Physical refining meets the new fashion of green products and has the characteristics of low refining consumption and no pollution.Because the crude oil is no longer treated with chemical methods, the whole refining process no longer produces sewage, and the manufacturers do not have to spend a lot of financial and material resources to solve environmental problems.
